The new Patrick Brealey album, Mer­cury in Song­birds will be offi­cially released on July 14, 2009. I’m putting the final touches on it now and I am thrilled with the results. I hope you will be too.

I am very for­tu­nate to have the oppor­tu­nity to write, per­form and record music and the cre­ation of my sec­ond album has been an excit­ing expe­ri­ence. As much as an audi­ence seeks art to ful­fill a desire to be enriched and enter­tained, an artist needs an audi­ence not only for sup­port but to give life to the art that has been cre­ated. With­out an audi­ence, there is no art.
